MTV Wants You!

Are you the “bad guy” at work? MTV wants you!

Are you the bad guy at work?

Are you the bad guy at work?

Most jobs require that you be friendly, upbeat and polite all the time. For other jobs, however, you just need a thick skin: think parking enforcers, bill collectors and repo men. MTV’s award-winning “True Life” documentary series is looking for people whose jobs make them the bad guy:

“Is it hard to know that a job well done will mean making other people angry at you? Do you repossess cars or foreclose houses? Perhaps you are a bill collector or an IRS tax auditor.  Do you solicit customers through telemarketing or other methods that people may perceive as harassment? Are you a bounty hunter of some kind?  Are you frustrated because you are constantly criticized for the work that you do even though you need the money? … If you appear between the ages of 16 and 28 and would like to share your story, please email MTV at badguy@mtvn.com and tell us about yourself and the job that you do. Be sure to include your name, location, phone number, and a recent photo.”
