How applying for a job has changed

Guest post by: Steve Glissman

As an avowed packrat, I am surprised that everyone does not share my affinity for storing items from the past. , For example, my wife (“Am I going to have call that show on A&E?”) does not see the value in preserving my keepsakes. She takes the view that these rarely used mementoes should be removed from our home. I don’t see these items as clutter, but rather artifacts from my personal museum, albeit a museum heavy on old clothes and out-dated technology.

My passion: Volunteering at Comfort Zone Camp

I used to volunteer a lot in college and realized after I graduated I wanted to continue giving back to the community that I called home. I quickly realized that this wasn’t the easiest thing to do since my first 2 jobs out of school required me to work most weekends and late into the evenings during the week.

SnagAJob has given me the opportunity to give back to the community and even suggested organizations for me to work with.

Entering into the workforce as a recent college graduate is often overwhelming and finding your first “real” job can prove to be a challenge. But as I’ve found out, “What do I want to be when I grow up” can be the hardest question to answer.
I consider myself fortunate to [...]

As you tell from this site, we enjoy adding the prefix “Snag” to any [...]
