“Within 5 hours of a day I had applied to a new job and got hired!”
I got a job!
I was unemployed for 3 months and I had already driven everywhere in or around my hometown. No one called back. I had applied to over 30 businesses and then I heard about the SnagAJob site. I went online and made a membership. Then I applied to three places instantly. This was around 8 a.m. At 10 a.m. I got a call from Dunkin’ Donuts and I had a job interview at 1 p.m. that same day.
I went and told the manager my situation and that I was willing to work. She then reached over the table and said you have got a job!!! Within 5 hours of a day I had applied to a new job and got hired! I am so thankful for what the site has done for me. I wish there was some way that I could repay them. I am still an employee of Dunkin’ Donuts and have been for over 4 months. I love my job. Thank you…

lucky you. Ive been unemployed for a lil over 2 months, have applied for 5 jobs on here and nothing. whats up with this site?? its not helping me. I too have applied for over 50 jobs all over. im realy frustrated.
Luck for you. My husband has been driving around all over town on a wild goose chase applying for jobs that aren’t available. All from snagajob.com. This is a disservice to all of the unemployed people looking for “real” jobs and can’t afford to waste gas on leads that aren’t available.
We understand your frustration. Some of our employers list their job openings with SnagAJob.com year-round because they’re constantly hiring new workers nationwide. That means these employers may not be hiring in your area at the exact moment you’re looking for a job–although they could be hiring tomorrow. In other words, all jobs posted on SnagAJob.com are active listings. We recommend calling ahead for a response instead of driving around.
SnagAJob.com posts hundreds and sometimes thousands of new jobs every day, so please check back regularly. If you have any questions, please visit our Job Seeker FAQ or contact us. Best of luck!
im so glad it worked for you send me some luck. ive applied everywhere for over a month and not even a interview. hope i get a job soon the bills still keep coming in
We know the job search process can be tough. There are a few things you can do to make employers notice you and improve your chances of finding a job:
-Don’t be shy! Follow up with every place you applied to within a week of applying. Just call the business and ask to speak to the hiring manager. Tell him or her you’re very interested in the job and ask if they need any more information from you.
-If you applied for a job at a large company (like Walmart) that asked you to complete your application on its website, double-check to make sure you completed all the required steps.
-Persistence pays off. Even if you’ve applied to several jobs, keep looking and keep applying! Ask friends and family to keep an eye out for opportunities.
