It’s almost Halloween so we’ve decided to share a few real-life horror stories that you sent to us. When we asked for your scariest moments at work we had no idea how frightening they’d be!

Once while I was digging a trench for a fiber optic line, I heard a loud creaking sound from the trench walls. (I was in an 8 1/2ft. deep trench) I looked up just in time to see the top then walls give way, collapsing and burying me completely. I could not move and I soon could not breathe. As I was convinced I was going to die light flooded in and I was pulled out. I escaped with bruised ribs and vivid memories of what death in that manner looked like when it comes for you. The terror of it has not diminished to this day. - Robert R.
