We asked for your scariest moments at work – and boy did you deliver! Our contest got hundreds of spooky and sometimes scary stories that had us completely freaked out. We’ll announce the winner soon – but since this weekend is Halloween, we wanted to share a few of our favorites with you.
I worked as a bank teller at an old landmark of a bank in Lewisburg, PA. It was dark and dank in most parts of the building and I was usually creeped out by some of the bugs I would see scurrying around. One day I will never forget, I was intently counting out my walk-up window cash drawer. This window had an old, musky curtain that I would close at the end each day. I looked up from counting the money and a gigantic, furry, frightening millipede was staring me in the face. I screamed so loud the other employees in the bank thought I was being robbed, or worse, had been shot or something. They all came running to see what my blood curdling scream was all about. This even topped the day I WAS ROBBED at gun point at a bank in New York. He only had 2 legs!!!! - Deborah T.
