We got the title because we’ve got such an amazing staff and because we play just as hard as we work – and we work very hard here at SnagAJob.com.
So what makes us so special? For starters, we have a snack room. That’s right. A whole room of free food and drink that we can have anytime we want. We also have a trainer come by a few times a week to help us burn off those free snacks.
But one of the best perks (among the many we have – and trust me, we have a ton) is our team outings – because we get to do all sorts of fun stuff. We bust it hard, but we reward ourselves in style.
A few days ago, our marketing team spent the afternoon taking a cooking class at Sur La Table. We learned chef-like cutting techniques, garlic-peeling secrets and that our B2B Marketing Manager Tim should not be in charge of whisking eggs. Just trust us on this one.
We created a yummy zucchini frittata along with shrimp and orzo salad, parmesan pita crisps and some sinfully chocolaty mudslide cookies. You have no idea how painful it was to have to cook all the food and not be able to eat any of it till the very end – especially seeing as how none of us had eaten lunch. Don’t think there wasn’t talk of grabbing the food and running. Sur La Table nearly had a cooking class mutiny on its hands.
We managed to restrain ourselves and fully enjoyed our meal – followed by some quality shopping time. It was an excellent day.
