“Serendipity” basically means “lucky accident.” Basically – and as Alanis Morissette can tell you – it’s the opposite of bitter irony.

Hello:
Just wanted to let you know that I recently quit my
job of 13.5 yrs. I didn’t know much at all about job search engines. Yours is the best. Went for an interview today and accepted a part-time job.
It’s not in my old pay range although the hours are just what I was looking for.
